Foods to Avoid

More than one grain serving a day is to be avoided. In fact, avoiding grains entirely is the best option. Those who just feel they cannot live without grains should choose either whole oats, or wild, whole grain rice in small servings (about 1/2 cup). Some other grain choices that are acceptable are quinoa, kamut, spelt, and amaranth.

Breads are NOT whole foods - you don't see bread growing out of the ground! If you have to eat bread, eat a yeast-free, wheat-free, salt-free version of a whole grain rye or spelt bread. By the way, before you eat that bread, what are you planning to put on it?

Avoid all dairy, except butter. If you have to have milk, fresh, non-processed goat's milk is less toxic than cow's milk. You can also substitute almond milk, coconut milk or rice milk (plain, not the flavors) for cow's milk. Moving completely away from dairy is best.

Raw cheese is recommended.

Contrary to popular belief, alcohol is not good for you. Not even a glass of wine. It should be avoided.
